Usually most people don't like lauki or Bottle gourd. But Bottle gourd has many health benefits.
It helps in treatment of high blood pressure, cures jaundice, reduces fatigue .
It's also the best weight loss food. It is rich in Thiamin, Zinc, Iron ,Vitamin C and Magnesium. Today the recipe is lauki chana dal masala.
Lauki or Bottle Gourd 2 cups peeled and cut into cubes
Chana Dal a fist of soaked in water for an hour
Potato 1 Medium Cut into cubes
Onion 1 Medium finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato 1/2 finely chopped
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric
Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Salt
Coriander leaves for garnishing
4) Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a while and then add coriander powder, chilli powder, curry powder 1/2 tsp and a pinch of turmeric powder (optional if its not sufficient in the boiled stuffs)

Method:-
1)Pressure cook lauki, chana dal and potato with 1/4 th cup of water, 1/2 tsp of turmeric and salt for 2 whistles in a medium to high flame.
2)Take a pan pour 2 tbsp of oil, add cumin seeds .
3) After it splutters add chopped onion and cook for a while till it turns brown.
4) Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a while and then add coriander powder, chilli powder, curry powder 1/2 tsp and a pinch of turmeric powder (optional if its not sufficient in the boiled stuffs)
6) Add the boiled lauki, chana and potato and cook for 4-5 minutes in a medium flame.
7)Sprinkle some garam masala and coriander leaves finely chopped and give a quick stir and switch off the flame.
8) Serve the Lauki chana dal masala hot with chappati.
Notes:-
You can skip the curry powder also
Pressure cooking depends fully on oneself, as it varies brand to brand.
