Shrimp Onion Masala fry

This is the simple and quick recipe for shrimp masala fry. Its quiet easy to prepare and this dish goes well with rice and chapati. If you want any shrimp dish in a hurry then this is the one you can prepare within minutes. It takes 10 mins apart from arranging the things.




Ingredients:-


Shrimp or Prawn 1 cup ( deskinned)
Onion 1 large Finely chopped
Garlic 2-3 florets finely chopped
Green Chilli 1 Finely chopped
Tomato 1 large finely chopped
Asafoetida or Hing 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder
Mix masala 1 tbsp
Chilli powder
Salt Acc.
Coriander leaves finely chopped

Method:-


1)Take the prawns and take the skin out . Here i have used frozen  prawns.


2)Take the kadhai, take 2 tbsp of oil, add hing 2 pinch of, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, garlic, green chilli and chopped green coriander 1 tbsp.

3)Add the chopped onions, tomatoes and salt and mix well and cook it for 3-4 minutes till the tomatoes become little soft and pulp consistence.

4)Then add 1 tbsp of any mix masala and red chilli powder ( acc.).

5)Give a quick stir and add the prawns and mix it well.

6)Add 2-3 tbsp of water and cook it covered till the prawns are cooked.

7)Garnish with chopped coriander and mix well and switch off the flame.


8)Now the hot simple and quick shrimp onion masala is ready to be served with roti or rice.Enjoy it with slice of onions.


Notes:-

You can add 1/2 tsp of lemon juice at the end for extra tangy flavor.
