Tofu and Peas curry

My lil one loves Paneer a lot . So while doing grocery i thought of taking Tofu as its very healthy and cook it like paneer and it came out really yummy. My lil one did not even recognize its not paneer.

This dish have less calories than paneer or home made cheese. 
For preparing this dish you need..

Ingredients:-
Tofu Firm 
Onion -2 big size
Peas 
Garlic-2 cloves
Ginger - 1 tsp
Tomatoes-2
cilantro
Turmeric
Cumin seeds
Coriander powder
Salt
kitchen king( Everest/MDH)
Garam Masala






Preparation:-
Take the Firm tofu and take out the liquid from it. Put it ona paper towel and squeeze the excess water from that putting some heavy thing on that.
After that cut it into cubes and fry it in 1tsp of oil.
Remove the Tofu when it turns brown and keep it aside.
Cut One onion and the capsicum( Green pepper and its optional) in cubes and fry them too for 4-5 mins and keep it aside.But here i have not used capsicum.
Microwave the peas for some time.
Then take a pan and put oil and after the oil is warm enough put some jeera( cumin seeds) and after it splutters put finely chopped onions . 
After the onion turns translucent add finely chopped garlic and crushed ginger( you can also use 1 tsp of ready made ginger garlic paste ) .
Now take some water in bowl add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder and some kitchen king and mix it well and after 2-3 mins add in that pan.
After cooking for a minute or so add chopped tomatoes and cook for some time while the oil 
oozes out.
Add the peas and water accordingly . After it boils put the fried tofu , onion and capsicum kept aside and bring it to a boil for a minute so that they absorbs the juice.
At the end garnish with some garam masala and coriander leaves and if you want you can also add cream at the end for extra creamy rich flavour.
Serve hot with Rice or any indian bread ( Naan, Chapati, poori or Paratha)
It goes well with anything.
