Paneer Bhurji/ Paneer Bharta

My papa used to make Paneeer Bhurji when i was in school and sometimes i was helping him in cutting green pepper and onions while making Bhurji. And once I told my papa that let me given a chance to make it and then we can see who makes better Bhurji.. That day i still remember, I was at the loosing side but the
hunger to make good food, made me learning a lot of recipes . I learned the below recipe form my papa a
long time ago and i do follow the same steps even today also to make Bhurjis .
Some times the milk also gets curdled and its the best use of the curdled milk. I have done this a number of times as i don't like to waste things .I hope this recipe will not disappoint you.

Paneer Bhurjee

For making this recipe you need :-

Ingredients:-

Paneer scrambled 1 cup
Green chilli 1-2 finely chopped
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Onion 1 med size
Tomato 1 med size
Bell Peppers( Greens, Red, Yellow)
Carrots 2 tbsp finely chopped
Turmeric Powder 1 pinch
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
Kitchen King Powder 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala 1 pinch
Tomato Ketchup 1 tbsp

Method:-

For making paneer take around 3-4 medium sized cups of milk, add 2 tbsp of vinegar when the milk starts boiling. After 2-3 mins the milk will curdle and paneer will float at the top. After that drain the paneer in a strainer.

Take a pan add oil and after it is hot add cumin seeds, then add chopped onions and after a min add carrots.

After cooking it for 2 mins add the chopped bell peppers, turmeric powder, coriander powder, kitchen king masala and cook it for few mins .

Remember not to over cook it so that it retains its crunchiness.

Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes in a medium flame, then add tomato ketchup.

Now add the scrambled paneer and mix it well .

At the end sprinkle garam masala. You can also add crushed fried cashews.

Serve it hot with any indian bread.

Tips:-

If you don't like bell peppers you can omit this step and use more onions.
